What is that elbow pain? Have you been playing a lot of golf, tennis, racquetball?
Dr. Steflik has been training extra hard recently for the competition American Ninja Warrior! He was called to compete this year! For his training, he has done a lot of pull ups and other body weight exercises, until he developed elbow pain. Watch the video below to learn about one of the best ways to treat elbow pain!
Epicondylitis is an inflammation of the tendons that connect to your elbow and can be quite painful. There are two types, medial and lateral, which mean either on the inside of the elbow or the outside. You might develop pain on one side more than the other because of a repetitive motion that you are doing with your wrist.
Some other treatments include, rest, ice, bracing, kinesio tape, ultrasound, and soft tissue myofascial release. All of these treatments work well, but some might be better than others depending on what your doctor recommends.
