It was an incredible experience from beginning to end. I'm going to share a few amazing stories of the incredible experience.
She is super friendly. I saw her mom (who was also competing this year) was wearing kinesio tape so I told them that if they needed more tape I brought some in my bag because I'm a chiropractor. Jessie asked me what I thought about The Joint, which is a chiropractic franchise. I shared our integrated philosophy of healing the body. Our bodies are made up of more than joints and most often require physical therapy, soft tissue work (like hawkgrips), and other therapies to help us heal as quickly and optimally as possible. She agreed and told me she had some soft tissue tools in her bag along with foam rollers and other tools. She shared that her first experience with chiropractic was not very positive because all they did was crack her back! When I shared that our office is designed to treat every aspect of the injury ESPECIALLY the soft tissues, I could see she would have a very positive experience in an office like ours.
The most amazing part of the experience was the people. All of the ninjas that I met were very friendly and down to earth people. They all carried on regular conversations or talked about strategies on how to beat the obstacles we faced that night. The producers and the rest of the crew were equally kind.
Unfortunately, I'm sworn to secrecy that I can't share results at this point. Watch the show starting June 12 this summer on NBC! The Daytona Beach episode airs on June 26th most likely!
